Local Author Policy

The Glen Ellyn Bookstore is proud to support locally published authors.  

To be considered for our Local Author shelf, please make sure your book follows these guidelines:

• Please supply one copy of your book and an application form for consideration.  Books may be dropped off at the store or mailed.  Please understand, that even if we are not engaged with a customer, we are busy working, and may not be able to spend time talking about your work at that time.
• We will select up to 5 books per month to display on the shelves of our choice.  If your book is selected, it will remain on display for 60 days. 
• Please understand that we are contacted by authors every week and we cannot guarantee if, or when your book will be selected. 
• You must reside in Dupage County to be considered for our Local Author Shelf.
